"Altitude Zero" (2004) by Lauren Cook

Lauren Cook is Associate Professor of Cinema at the University of Hartford where she teaches courses in film and media studies. 

Her 2004 film "Altitude Zero" (16mm, sound, colour, 5 min) uses a variety of direct film techniques (painting, die cuts, scratching) in combination with found footage, to tell an alternative history of women in film, through the lens of aviator Amelia Earheart.
