HYPERPOT by Sonodrome
The lowly potentiometer is commonly known by the rather disparaging term "knob", or "pot". It's an established way of controlling a single parameter on a device, whether that be a washing machine or analogue synthesiser. How boring, right?
Sonodrome are innovative makers Kat Pattison and Jim Frize, based in Leicester. They explore everything from home-brewed audio instruments to large dub speaker systems to 8-bit aesthetics. Now they've rethought the "pot-ential" of the "pot-entiometer" and the result is HYPERPOT. Check out the video to see how much you can do with so little!
